Designed for educators passionate about introducing coding to preschool and primary school children, this workshop aligns with the EYLF, MTOP, and Australian Curriculum, ensuring you provide the highest quality education.

Our workshop spans three engaging hours, offering a comprehensive introduction to coding concepts and practical, hands-on activities. We kick off with an overview of the workshop objectives and delve into the importance of early coding education.

Understanding the foundational concepts of algorithms, sequences, and loops is crucial, and we cover these through interactive discussions and activities.

The heart of our workshop lies in its hands-on approach. Educators participate in a series of creative and interactive coding activities. Activities that educators will participate in explore binary coding in a fun and tangible way, offering dynamic, physical activity that illustrates programming basics through movement and commands. These activities can be taken away and implemented with in your services program immediately and no specialist equipment is needed.

In the final hour, we focus on practical implementation. Learn how to create a coding-friendly environment and integrate coding seamlessly into your curriculum. We provide templates and resources that align with the EYLF, MTOP, and Australian Curriculum, making it easy to incorporate coding into your daily lessons. The session concludes with a Q&A and feedback segment, ensuring all your questions are addressed and you leave equipped with actionable insights.
