Hands-On Learning with Simple Machines 3D Pyramid Puzzle

Building Challenge: Children will collaborate to decide the best way to construct a large, child-scaled 3D pyramid puzzle, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Exploring Theories: Delve into different scientific theories on how the great Egyptian pyramids were built, encouraging critical thinking and historical inquiry. Simple Machines Exploration

Experiment and Hypothesise

Test various scientific theories and methods, experimenting with simple machines like levers, pulleys, and ramps. Create Your Own Simple Machine: Children will design and make their very own simple machine to take home, applying their newfound knowledge in a creative project.

Curriculum Integration

Our Grandpa's Museum STEM Workshop is meticulously designed to align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum. Our activities and resources are crafted to meet educational standards, ensuring seamless integration into your existing curriculum.
