Join Beyond the Beanstalk's enchanting Growley and the Twitching Tail Workshop, where children aged 2-5 and 5-12 will embark on an interactive puppetry adventure.
Designed to captivate young minds, this workshop blends the magic of storytelling with the creative world of puppetry. Perfectly aligned with the EYLF, MTOP, and the Australian Curriculum, our programme offers an enriching educational experience for teachers and early childhood educators.

Interactive Storytelling:
Engaging Storytime: Children will delve into the captivating story of Growley and the Twitching Tail, discovering clues and solving mysteries along the way.
Meet Growley: Encounter our larger-than-life chimera cat puppet, Growley, who brings the story to life with his whimsical charm.
Hands-On Puppetry:
Create Your Own Puppet: Every child will have the chance to craft their very own Growley or Gwen cat finger puppet, exploring concepts of engineering and art.
Puppetry Techniques: Learn various puppetry methods and styles, using Beyond the Beanstalk's puppet theatres and equipment to experiment and play.
STEAM Focus:
Engineering and Art: This STEAM activity integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
Interactive Theatre Circuit: Children will rotate through our interactive puppetry workshop, trying out different puppet show ideas and finding their favourite style.
Educational Integration
Our Growley and the Twitching Tail Workshop is meticulously designed to support the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum. This ensures a comprehensive educational approach that nurtures imagination, problem-solving, and artistic expression.

Beyond the Beanstalk's Storytime STEM workshops weave captivating stories with hands-on STEM/STEAM activities. Perfect for preschool, childcare, primary school (Stage 1), and OOSH settings, each session begins with an imaginative story featuring charming characters, followed by a related activity that fosters creativity and problem-solving. Most workshops includes a take-home project, allowing students to extend their learning and apply their newfound skills, with plenty of options for adapting activities to suit your centre's requirements.
